Speedway Children’s Charities [read more]
Speedway Children's Charities is more than just a fundraiser. Our local chapters are partners in change, working with a broad range of people and organizations to identify and resolve pressing issues dealing with children in their communities.

Because of the unique conditions in every community, the issues Speedway Children's Charities address are determined locally. Challenges ranging from learning disabilities, broken homes, and childhood cancer are on the agenda for the local chapters of SCC and the over 500 non-profit organizations they support.

Although priorities for Speedway Children's Charities are set locally, we have one common goal - to ensure every child in need be given the tools to build a better, brighter and healthy future. Together in 2009, we awarded more than $3.2 million to over 350 organizations.

NOS Energy Drink [read more]
NOS Energy Drink powers your body in the same way that nitrous oxide systems power your car at the touch of a button- it’s fast, explosive, and gives you the horsepower you need to win.  Think about the relationship between a car and a driver- shouldn’t they get powered up the same way?  Why should one be going at full performance if the other isn’t?

We saw this relationship and came up with the concept of translating NOS into an energy drink.  We shared our idea with Lance Collins, the founder of FUZE beverages, and flew down to Bowling Green, KY to meet with Holley Performance Parts to pitch the idea.  A great partnership was formed, and the rest is history!

Toyota [read more]
Toyota’s racing history includes a rich tradition with numerous championships and victories in some of the world’s most prestigious events. Yet, even with the long list of diverse accomplishments, no season has been able to match what the manufacturer produced in 2008.

The year began with Lexus becoming the first manufacturer in 20 years to earn three consecutive overall wins at the prestigious Rolex 24 at Daytona and concluded with Toyota winning its first-ever USAC Driver’s Championships. However, it was the on-track performance in the NASCAR ranks that resulted in many victory lane celebrations throughout the 2008 season and a winning streak that brought attention to the “new kids on the NASCAR block”.

In February, Joe Gibbs Racing’s (JGR) Denny Hamlin became the first Toyota Camry driver to win a NASCAR Sprint Cup race with his victory in the Gatorade Duel qualifier at Daytona. Just three weeks later at Atlanta, his JGR teammate Kyle Busch won Toyota’s first points paying Sprint Cup Series race.

Busch taking a Toyota to victory lane was a scene that would be replayed numerous times throughout the season. He went on to register a NASCAR record 21 victories in the sanctioning body’s three national series during the 2008 campaign. Overall, Busch earned eight Sprint Cup wins, 10 in the Nationwide Series and three in the Camping World Truck Series for his single season total. Read More about Toyota History
