04.13.09 - NASCAR SUPERSTAR KYLE BUSCH GIVES SUNSHINE ACRES CHILDREN’S HOME AN EXTREME FITNESS MAKEOVER AND VIP NASCAR WEEKEND EXPERIENCE
WHAT:
NASCAR‘s hottest young driver—Kyle Busch, is making time during the upcoming race week to pay a surprise visit to the Sunshine Acres Children’s Home in Mesa as part of his work with the Kyle Busch Foundation. On Thursday, April 9, Busch is donating and coordinating the installation of brand new kid-friendly exercise equipment for the home’s fitness room, including interactive bicycling machines, dancing pads, and much more.
Once the renovation is complete, Busch plans to surprise the entire home by inviting them to be his VIP guests at both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series NASCAR races on Saturday and Sunday, April 18-19, at the Phoenix International Raceway, where they can catch all of the action in their own suite.
WHO:
Busch, driver the No. 18 M&M’S® Toyota car for Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, founded the Kyle Busch Foundation in 2006 after a visit to a children’s home in Michigan. The Kyle Busch Foundation has a growing relationship with the children of Sunshine Acres after visiting the home for the first time last spring.
